I have my Master's degree from The Ohio State University and graduated Cum Laude from The College of New Jersey with a major in Women's and Gender Studies and a minor in Spanish. I have a background in Elementary Education and got extremely high scores on my Praxis exams. I am a member of Phi Kappa Phi (National Honor Society), Kappa Delta Pi (Educational Honor Society) and Triota (Women's and Gender Studies Honor Society). I have taught at Ohio State University for two years in the Women's Studies department and currently teach at The College of New Jersey, and have offered writing conferences for all my students providing constructive feedback on content, grammar and style. I'd be comfortable tutoring Spanish, English (proofreading, writing, grammar, reading), and Pre-Algebra/Algebra with students K-12. I can also help prepare for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs with students who need some assistance with reading/pronouncing Hebrew. I'd also be willing to provide college/graduate school counseling with students ready to take the next step in their education and need some guidance! I've babysat and worked at a day camp for years and served as a Resident Advisor throughout my undergraduate career, so I have plenty of experience with youth/adolescents of all ages!!
